Erasmus+, KA220-VET – Cooperation partnerships in vocational education and training.
Project nr. 2021-1-SK01-KA220-VET-000034712

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the consequent transition from face-to-face education to online lessons, it has become more vital for teachers to possess specific pedagogical and digital competence in order to manage the learning and teaching process in the most efficient and effective way. The vocational education field, then, risks to be particularly disadvantaged by this online transition. Therefore, it is essential to develop the digital skills of vocational school teachers in order to produce qualified training and minimize the limits and risks of online teaching.

The Applicant organisation/Partner organisation are:

  • Sukromná stredna odborna skola Pro scholaris (SK)
  • GAZIANTEP UNIVERSITESI (TR)
  • CENTER FOR EDUCATION AND INNOVATION (GR)
  • I.I.S. GRANDIS (IT)

  • City of Reykjavik Skóla og fristundasvið (IS).

The project has the following objectives: – to develop and to implement a flipped classroom-based education model (e-FLIP Teaching Model) and a teacher training module (e -FLIP Teacher Training Module).

The e-FLIP teacher Training Module will incorporate four basic components:

  • Lesson planning and preparation by implementation of e-FLIP Model based on flipped classroom approach.
  • Guiding principles for developing teaching/learning activities in digital environments.
  • Tools for developing teaching materials compatible with digital learning environments and guiding principles for an effective utilization of such materials.
  • Use of assessment and evaluation tools and guiding principles for an effective use of these tools.

The e-FLIP project finally aims at finding common solutions to a common education crisis caused by a global problem, Covid-19 pandemic.
